Globe Energy Norway AS (org. no 934 108 787), Surfellingen 2, 1739 Borgenhaugen, Norway, is the data controller for personal data collected via this website. Questions about privacy can be sent to post@globeenergy.no.
What data we process
- Contact by email or phone: your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry.
- Chat: when you use our chat assistant, your messages are processed in order to answer your enquiry. Please do not share sensitive personal data in the chat.
- Visitor statistics: anonymised or aggregated statistics about the use of the website, to improve content and user experience.
Purpose and legal basis
We process the data to answer enquiries, provide quotations, follow up customer relationships and improve the website. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for enquiries and statistics, and contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) where the enquiry concerns a customer relationship or quotation.
Storage and deletion
Data is not stored longer than necessary for the purpose. Enquiries that do not lead to a customer relationship are normally deleted within 12 months. Data related to customer relationships is stored for the duration of the relationship and thereafter in accordance with bookkeeping and accounting legislation.
Sharing with third parties
We never sell personal data. Data is only shared with data processors that provide services to us — for example website hosting and the chat solution — and that are bound by data processing agreements. Where data is processed outside the EEA, the transfer is safeguarded by a valid transfer mechanism under GDPR Chapter V.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Contact us at post@globeenergy.no to exercise your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe the processing violates the regulations.
